VISION ÉNERGIE & ÉCOLOGIE 2040 RDC

Local ideas. Skills to build what comes next.

Energy, water and the environment: young Congolese people have a role to play in their country’s transformation. Generation 2040 aims to help them understand these challenges and encourage solutions suited to the needs of their communities.

Kinshasa · February 2027 · Exact dates and venues to be confirmed

Why should young people prepare today?

Access to energy and water, waste management, forest preservation and urban development will shape the DRC’s future. Climate change increases risks for people, agriculture and ecosystems.

Generation 2040 has a clear ambition: to prepare young people to understand these changes and take part in addressing them. By connecting knowledge, skills and local initiatives, the approach aims to foster practical solutions for Congolese communities.
